The Battle of Secessionville is sponsored by the Confederate Heritage Trust, Inc, a non-profit charity dedicated to the preservation of Southern heritage relics and symbols. Our goal is not the glorification of war but the education of the next generation on the horror and tragedy of it's consequences, that courage, honor and valor are personal traits we each possess, which we each must rely on when words fail and we are forced to pick up a sword.

All of the profits received by the CHT from this event are donated for preservation efforts, including the restoration efforts of the submarine H. L. Hunley. The event is educational, fun, family oriented, and our Sutler row is a great place to buy unique Christmas presents!
